Gonçalo Cerejeira Namora joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2015, where he works in the areas of Privacy, Digital and Technology, Intellectual Property, Corporate, Sports and Litigation.

He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and a Master of Law with a specialisation in Labour Law, from the Portuguese Catholic University - Porto Regional Centre, in the context of which he presented a Master's thesis with the theme "Labour relations in the collaborative economy business organisation model (UBER Economy)" under the guidance of Professor Catarina Carvalho.

Gonçalo has several complementary backgrounds, namely:

  • Advanced Course in Data Protection Compliance in the European Union by the European Institute of Public Administration - EIPA, Maastricht
  • Cybersecurity Course, IJC - FDUC
  • Specialization Course in Sports Law, by the Institute of Business and Labour Law - IDET, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra
  • Sports and Arbitration Course at the Sports Arbitration Court, by the Institute of Business and Labour Law - IDET, of the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra

He collaborates with various professional associations, universities and teaching institutions in the areas of Privacy and Data Protection, Cyber-security, Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence.

He has vast experience in compliance projects regarding privacy and data protection in the public and private sectors, namely educational establishments, local authorities and companies in the technology sector, acting as DPO in some of these institutions.
