Mariana Tavares joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2021, where she works mostly in the Public practice area.
Mariana has a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and have completed her Master's in Legal and Administrative Sciences at the same educational institution, having presented her thesis subject to the theme: "The Acquisition of Legal Representation Services by Public Entities in the view of the Portuguese Public Procurement Code".
She also holds a postgraduate degree in Public Employment Law from the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences (ICJP) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDUL).
During her academic career, she was Vice President for Marketing at ELSA U.Porto and PB Junior at PRO BONO Portugal.
She completed several extracurricular courses, among which we highlight the Short Course on Public Procurement (Iuris FDUP Junior – 2018), 2nd Edition of the Course on Public Procurement (Conselho Regional do Porto – 2020) and 3rd Edition of the Course "A (new) Administrative Justice" (FDUP/CIJE – 2021).
She has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2022.
